Company Director, Benjamin Gregory has over 10 years experience in the plumbing and heating sector.

 "I started off working for Derby City Council on a plumbing & gas apprenticeship, and gained a good core level of experience in the domestic plumbing & gas field.

At the end of my apprenticeship I wanted to learn more about larger heating and gas systems, so decided to obtain my commercial gas qualifications and work along side a mechanical contractor installing plant rooms and maintenance of other commercial plant, we carried out work at Amazon warehouses and public sector premises such as police stations and hospitals across the UK. 

After this I worked for East Midlands Airport installing, monitoring and repairing  all gas, heating and mechanical plant on site.

I eventually left the airport and began working for one of the largest Facilies Management companies in the country, many of the contracts were for large premises such as the National Health Service, Lloyds Bank Branches and retail units for DFS.

After 3 years, I then decided to set up Optimal Plumbing and Heating, providing my qualifications and wealth of experience to domestic customers and commercial businesses across Derbyshire & Nottingham."
